This is a lovely compact and lightweight chess set. Referred to as 'school chess' it's ideal for young chess players or those that need portability while on the move. The whole set is solid wood with highly attractive staining and burning on the board. A cute little set that shows superb value for money. Made in Europe this is a genuine example of a classic design that shows small is beautiful.
