12 Inch Folding Rosewood, Ebony and Boxwood Chess Set

This crafted wooden chess set has been fashioned from solid ebony, rosewood and boxwood. The result is a stunning set with a beautiful board and finely detailed chess pieces. The cabinet is made from the luxurious Rosewood has plush individual compartments for each piece. The finely inlaid squares are ebony and Maple which lends itself nicely to a real black and white chequer board pattern.

The white chess pieces are carefully carved out of boxwood in the classic Staunton style while their opponents are fashioned in ebonised Boxwood. A really stunning chess set made from dense and fine materials. One of a small quantity we have managed to secure. An ideal gift for chess collectors and enthusiasts, a set which will no doubt provide years of use and will age well.
