Finished in high gloss lacquer, this Black Anegre and Maple chess board is a masterpiece of modern chess set fabrication. Slightly thicker than our other deluxe chess boards, the presentation and feel of this board is closer to a more substantial solid wooden board construction. The finest Anegre veneers have been used to produce a medium-large size board that will compliment either Ebony, Rosewood or Red Sandalwood chess pieces.
