The board's base is also constructed from quality wooden veneer. Modern fabrication techniques are uses which makes for a chess board with clean lines and meticulous attention to detail. The Ash has a beautiful marbled burl grain that seems to jump when the light catches it. Perfect for accompanying with Ebony or Red Sandalwood Pieces with 3.75 inch King heights.
