3.25 Inch Ebonised Down Head Chess Men with Case and Chess Board

This beautiful chess set combines our 19 inch Maple and Mahogany chess board with the superb 3.25 inch Downhead chess men. A neat storage box is also included and is the perfect size to house the chess men. The Board is a European made veneer type with finely inlaid squares. It's a clean design that has been crafted to exacting standards. It's a robust and heavy chess board that will provide years if not decades of use. The Chess men are our single weighted Down head Staunton pieces in Boxwood and ebonized Boxwood. Each piece has internal weighting and generous felting on it's base. They have been crafted from the finest boxwood and the dark pieces 'ebonized' to take on a highly convincing ebony appearance. The chess men fit perfectly in the birch wood chess case that is included in this set.
