The new Cossack Series Red Sandalwood and Boxwood luxury chess pieces are large in size and weight yet beautifully crafted, finished and polished. They are the tallest chessmen in our range with the king reaching a lofty 6 inches. In addition they are our heaviest pieces with the Red Sandalwood king a heafty 162g. The design is based on the classic Staunton look with a sight departure most noted in the finial design of the king. Despite their large height, the collection has a slender form thus allowing them to be placed on a twenty three inch playing board with grace.
