Carefully cast Brass and Nickel plated Brass chess pieces, designed and manufactured in Italy. Featuring a very distinctive Ancient Egyptian theme, the detailing on the figures is simply staggering. The set features an Egyptian Pharaoh and his queen, servants as bishops, a sphinx for the knight and obelisks as rooks.
These pieces are substantial and are very heavy in the hand. They feature a thick padded base to protect the chess board and have a square base.
All the pieces have the same base diameter of 1.4 inches. Due to the height of the pieces we recommend quite a large board to off set this.
