Each piece has been expertly turned from graded boxwood and polished to a standard you usually expect to see on a much more expensive chess set. Attention to detail is present on every piece which has been internally weighted and felted on the base. With a 3 inch king height these chessmen are perfect for chess boards from 18 to 20 inches.
