Having another slightly larger set in Ebony, I wanted something in Sheesham with a 31/2 inch King.
I chose this set because it ticked all the boxes for me - it fits very well on my 2 inch square board, and all the pieces are very attractive in that classic Staunton style.
The pieces are nicely weighted without being too heavy or light, and the whole set is very well made.
Personally, I think this price is a bargain because you will be getting a quality set that could boast a much higher price. It looks and is stunning.
