  • High grade black anegre, maple and palisander rosewood.
  • High gloss finish.
  • 21.7 inch luxury board.
  • 2.2 inch playing squares.
  • Ideal for a king height of 3.75 inches.
This luxury chess board with an ultra gloss finish is constructed from wooden veneers of graded black anegre, maple and palisander rosewood. It is best matched with chess pieces with king heights of 3.75 inches (95 mm) in ebony, rosewood or sheesham wood.

This chess board has been expertly crafted by Rechapados Ferrer in Spain using precision laser cutting techniques and stunning wooden veneers combined with expert lacquering and finishing. The underside of the board is finished in a satin veneer that is a different colour from the playing surface of the board. The veneers used for the underside may vary in colour from batch to batch.

"40 years since I received a chessboard for my 18th birthday so my wife thought it would be a good idea to celebrate this year with an upgrade and this board looks just fantastic and is a great fit for my chess pieces which have a 4 inch king. I was surprised by just how big it is and I am glad we didn't go for the bigger one.
