Each chess piece has been expertly turned from solid boxwood with the black pieces undergoing ’ebonisation’ - a very convincing process that gives them the look of real ebony. Each piece is then weighted and felted on the base. The 3.5 inch king height makes them ideal for chess boards from 20 inches (50 cm).
