The Burnt Parker chessmen are a unique product of burning the boxwood prior to the intricate carving and varnish which gives this striking and luxurious effect.

The dark and golden tones, achieved by this method, complement each other beautifully, highlighting the carved detail so that each and every piece is ornamental in its own way.

These pieces require a 20 inch board and we have matched it with a high gloss Spanish board to give you The Burnt Parker Palisander Chess set
