Hand turned and crafted from sheesham and boxwood, the 3 inch Down Head Knight Chessmen are one of the most popular sets of chess pieces in the whole Regency Chess collection. Every piece is carved from a single section of wood and single weighted with the end result a robust wooden chess piece that is sure to stand the test of time.

These Down Head Knight chess men have been polished to a medium natural gloss by the same talented craftsmen responsible for some of the worlds highest quality and luxury chess sets and will sit perfectly on any of our 15 or 16 inch chess boards (approx 40 centimeters).

Also available in a smaller and larger king size of 2.5 inches (63 mm) and 3.25 inches (83 mm).
