The French Knight Series Staunton Chess Pieces represent superb value for money. The quality of finish and attention to detail on these solid wooden chessmen is far beyond what you expect from such a modestly priced set. Each chess piece has been expertly turned from solid boxwood. The black pieces have been 'ebonised' - a very convincing process that gives them the look of real ebony. Each piece is weighted and felted on the base. A 3.25 inch king height makes them ideal for chess boards from 16 inches (40 cm).
