These wider than normal 3.25 inch set of chess pieces are handcrafted from solid pieces of teak, weighted, felted and polished to a very high quality finish. They sit very majestically on this beautiful Spanish black anegre board, expertly created by the world famous board makers Rechapados Ferrerin Spain. With its superbly grained palisander border, black anegre and maple playing area and high gloss finish, the board and chess men complement each other perfectly.

To complete this set, we have added a lovely little clock which again complements this set beautifully. Please note that this clock has a wind up mechanism and requires no batteries.

The chess board in this set has been expertly crafted by Rechapados Ferrer in Spain using precision laser cutting techniques and stunning wooden veneers combined with expert lacquering and finishing. The underside of the board is finished in a satin veneer that is a different colour from the playing surface of the board. The veneers used for the underside may vary in colour from batch to batch.
