Distinctive, aggressive features including a well-defined mane and flared nostrils, in particular, define the knights in this set. Each piece is beautifully weighted and balanced, with the whole set presented in a hand-made solid Golden Rosewood (sheesham) chess piece case. The interior is lined inside with green flocking to protect your pieces and the exterior is polished with natural waxes. All in all, the case is a work of art on its own!

The chess board in this set has been expertly crafted by Rechapados Ferrer in Spain using precision laser cutting techniques and stunning wooden veneers combined with expert lacquering and finishing. The underside of the board is finished in a satin veneer that is a different colour from the playing surface of the board. The veneers used for the underside may vary in colour from batch to batch.
