The Emerald Series Chess Pieces have just returned to the Regency Chess collection after a few months away. The reason being that they sold out so fast last time that we didn't order a new batch in time. Luckily we now have these brilliant chess pieces back in stock and have put in the order for more to be handmade by our suppliers right away. These chess pieces take so long to make because of their rounded silhouettes, which have to be individually hand turned. The process of ebonising them also takes a few weeks, meaning the amount of time and effort put into making them is often far more than other chess pieces. The only thing that doesn't take long is them leaving the Regency Chess shelves and arriving in chess lovers' houses around the world.
Weighted well, with green flocked bases, these pieces are the perfect match for our 18 or 19 inch (45 - 50 cm) chess boards.
