This burl walnut board is absolutely beautiful and extremely well made. The large 60mm squares are suitable for most sets with the King over 3.75” tall, but are well suited to sets with Kings 4” to 4.6” tall. Both my sets with Kings at 4.1” and 4.25” sit well on the board. The set with the larger King is of dark rosewood for the ‘black’ pieces and compliment the board extremely well.
