The chess board is gorgeous, well crafted and quite heavy, which makes it very stable on any flat surface. It has excellent quality finishes as well. All the pieces move smoothly. It is ideal for the Leningrad Series 4 inch pieces set (which i also bought and was delighted with). The packaging of this chess board has been done like nothing i have ever seen... a masterpiece!
