We bought this set as a gift for our son's 18th birthday as we wanted something really special - this set truly fits the bill - it is a fantastic set and really is a work of art in every way. It looks and feels wonderful - the pieces are crafted beautifully and weighted perfectly (the knights are particularly amazing) and the board is absolutely stunning with its gorgeous wood grains, size and sheen.
