Wooden Chess Piece Case with Sliding Lid

I strongly believe that the storage medium should be of similar quality to the chess pieces. I purchased the 15.75" German knight chess set from the Official Staunton store, and after searching around for storage boxes, this is the one I liked best. Regency provide excellent service all around: the delivery was prompt, the packaging pretty exceptional and the quality of the product did not disappoint. It is exactly as it looks in the photo - a deep, solid hardwood with a beautiful grain pattern. My King is slightly bigger than 3" so it did not fit standing upright, but the velvet-smoothness of the inner material provides sufficient protection to all the pieces even when lying on top of one another. I would recommend a much bigger box if you're looking to store all of your pieces upright.
