Skyline Chess

Skyline chess was founded in London, England by two young and extremely talented architectural designers, Ian Flood and Chris Prosser. They had created s superb chess set prototype of the London skyline and before long had put the set into mass production and started a company to distribute and sell the sets.

London Skyline Chess

When they initially approached us at Regency Chess we were immediately impressed with the product they showed us, a superb representation of the London Skyline. The set has everything you’d expect in terms of the buildings it faithfully represents. Big Ben as a rook, classic London terraced houses as pawns and also featuring the London Eye, the Shard, and Canary Warf among others.

The chess pieces are tactile and feel great in the hands when you’re playing chess. The level of detail is very clear and it’s obvious that these pieces have been cleverly designed and manufactured to a very high level of quality. There is no better London skyline architectural chess set available.

Skyline chess New York Edition

The success of the London set made it clear to Skyline that they needed to set to work making new chess set products based around other famous cityscapes. The New York chess set was launched in the same vein and excellent quality as the London version. This one features iconic structures such as The Guggenheim, the Flatiron Building, The Chrysler Building, Empire State Building and one of the world trade towers. Like the London set it comes beautifully presented in a lovely gift box complete with a chess board. The NYC skyline chess set is the first of it’s kind and the only chess set we’ve seen that represents this city so well.
