The Broadbase Club Staunton Teak Palisander Chess Set is a stunning new addition to our comprehensive range here at The Regency Chess Company.

The wider than normal 3.25 inch pieces are handcrafted from solid pieces of teak, and sit majestically on this beautiful Spanish black anegre board. With its palisander border and high gloss finish, they complement each other perfectly. We have matched this set up with a large solid Sheesham (Golden Rosewood) box that will house your chess men when not in use. This superb set is also available without the chess piece cabinet.

And to complete this set, we have added a lovely little clock which again complements this set beautifully. Please note that this clock has a wind up mechanism and requires no batteries.

Please note that when the chessmen are placed in the box it is normal and intentional for them to lay down on top of each other. They are NOT intended to stand up inside the box.

The chess board in this set has been expertly crafted by Rechapados Ferrer in Spain using precision laser cutting techniques and stunning wooden veneers combined with expert lacquering and finishing. The underside of the board is finished in a satin veneer that is a different colour from the playing surface of the board. The veneers used for the underside may vary in colour from batch to batch.
