This amazing version features the mid sized lewis chess pieces in an exclusive presentation case with a stunning Walnut chess board. The quality is superb, A very substantial and heavy set.

Please note that when the chessmen are placed in the box it is normal and intentional for them to lay down on top of each other. They are NOT intended to stand up inside the box.

"A bit more expensive than what I planned but this was a for a sixtieth birthday present. When it arrived I realised this was high quality, you only get what you pay for. Beautifully presented in a substantial wooden box. The pieces are “medium” sized which makes them big enough to handle but not so big that the set dominates your coffee table if you are leaving it out on display. As far as I can see the pieces are excellent reproductions of the original and include the “toothy” berserker rook pieces. If the recipient doesn’t like it (unlikely) I’ll be keeping it!"
