This fantastic set features an oak cabinet with stunning red and grey burl inlays. The result is one of the most beautiful backgammon sets we’ve seen.

This set was one of a selection of hand picked luxury backgammon sets that were added to our range in the summer of 2018. We visited Manopoulos in September 2017 to establish a new range of top end sets that are exclusive to The Regency Chess Company. This set features polished resin stones and four high quality dice as well as a doubling cube.

The metal trim work on the case and board really sets this product apart and at a hefty weight of nearly three kilos means this backgammon set is without doubt a very high quality and substantial product.

To ensure the highest quality we’ve replaced the standard basic dice cups that usually accompany these sets with the superior Philos cups. These stylish black, lined backgammon cups are excellent quality and compliment this set perfectly.

The finish on the oak cabinet is a lovely rubbed grey surface with smooth lines and has a lovely tactile feel. This set is ideal for home, competition or club use backgammon. It comes packaged in it’s branded Manopoulos box and makes the ideal gift for birthdays, anniversaries, weddings and retirement. Backgammon is one of those timeless two player games.
