This Cheltenham Series chess set combines painstakingly hand turned ebony and boxwood chess pieces with a 20 inch grey briar wood and elm wood chess board. The board is made in Italy to the highest standards and has a mesmerising burr chequerboard finish. Coated in a quality gloss lacquer, the chess pieces reflect majestically in the light.

The Cheltenham Series chessmen are highly detailed and at 3.75 inches (95 mm) in height, standard tournament size. The four knights have been painstakingly carved by the best craftsmen which is evident in the detailing. All the pieces have been expertly finished and polished and are balanced well.
