Expertly handcrafted from solid ebony, these Columbus Chessmen are weighted for perfect balance, and have the look and feel of pure luxury.

At 4 inches, the king is quite simplistic in design. There are additional carvings to the sleek shank and with his wide base and decorative finial, he makes an imposing leader.

The bishop and rook too are stylishly simplistic however the knights are exquisite and intricate in detail. With alert ears, flowing mane and chiselled bone structure, this is a beautifully ornate chess piece.
