"I received this as a birthday present and was duly impressed by the quality, particularly in the folding board. Some of the pieces have bubbles in the varnish and there are occasional splinters in the detail but on a set this small and at this price, it's to be expected. Critically these issues do not at all detract from the overall appearance of this set. The magnets also give the set a weighted feel. If I have one slight gripe it is that some of the white squares on my set are noticeably darker than some of the others but this is by far and away the very best folding set I have ever owned. Concealed magnetic closure of the board was also a big selling point for me. Most sets have clasps which detract from the look whereas this looks clean and sleek. Overall an excellent product for the money and would recommend to anyone that enjoys playing."
