  • Ideal for a king height of 3.5 inches.
17.75 inch quality chess board produced by reputable chess artisan Rechapados Ferrer S.A. of Spain. High grade Walnut and Maple veneered construction using modern fabrication techniques has produced a board with clean lines and critical detailing. The Walnut grain is simply seductive and a beautifully veneered wooden base adds the finishing touch. Perfect for accompanying with chess piece king heights of 3.5 inches.

This chess board has been expertly crafted by Rechapados Ferrer in Spain using precision laser cutting techniques and stunning wooden veneers combined with expert lacquering and finishing. The underside of the board is finished in a satin veneer that is a different colour from the playing surface of the board. The veneers used for the underside may vary in colour from batch to batch.

"Recently I bought a replica set of the "Charlemagne" Chessmen. These needed a board with squares of 50mm playing space, and an overall size of just under 18" (to fit on my side table!). This board ticked both boxes. The quality is excellent. The finish feels like glass and the graining of the woods is very handsome.
