3.75 inch (95 mm) king.
Best suited to a 19 or 20 inch (50 cm) board.

Distinctively Staunton in style, these ebonised boxwood chess pieces are beautifully turned and polished before being weighted. The Broadbase Club Staunton Chessmen are known for their wide circumferences that hold firm on a chess board. Each chess piece commands a larger area than other 3.75 Inch sets, while also boasting intricately carved aesthetics. The bishop, for example, has a smoothly rounded top with a deep indent perfectly carved. These beautiful chess pieces have been matched with an incredible blue board to make the Broadbase Club Satin Blue Chess Set.

More traditional, darker chess boards also fit well with the Broadbase Club Staunton Chessmen, although they must be 19 inches (50 cm) or larger.
