With the high quality of finish and attention to detail on these solid wooden chessmen exceeding beyond what you expect from such a modestly priced set, the Arundel Staunton Chess Pieces represent excellent value for money. Each chess piece has been expertly turned from solid boxwood.

A very convincing process that gives the look of real ebony, the black pieces are created using 'ebonisation’. Each piece is then weighted and felted on the base. The 3.5 inch king height in this set makes them ideal for chess boards from 16 inches (40 cm).
